Intramural Sports

Want to stay active, play your favorite sport and meet other MoGen students? The MoGen GSA coordinates intramural sports teams for each semester. Keep an eye out at the start of each term for an email from the GSA sports rep with sign up information for each team. Most sports teams are recreational level, with some intermediate level teams when there is sufficient interest. If you want to set up an intramural team that is not already offered, contact the sports rep! You can also sign up individually and be slotted onto an existing team.

Sports vary by year and season, but these are generally available:
– Volleyball
– Ultimate Frisbee
– Hockey
– Soccer
– Basketball
– Dodgeball
– Softball
– Flag Football

Athletics Facilities

The University of Toronto has many different gyms and athletic facilities, including weight rooms, pools and more! Graduate students at U of T can automatically access facilities using their T-card from September-April. In the summer semester, graduate students can get the cost of their gym membership reimbursed through SGS. For more information on gym membership reimbursement, keep an eye out in April for an email from your sports rep.

The University of Toronto also has a variety of drop-in classes, including Zumba, Yoga and interval training classes for a variety of fitness levels.
